Patrick is a gem and looks after all of the park like it's his own. Free firewood, excellent care of the grounds and visitors is obviously their #1 priority.

Big rig friendly. Immaculate kept and run campground! , lots for kids to do , nature trials, pool, shuffle board, and close to small towns for day trips. Friendly and professional staff. Very clean small lake/pond with very nice sandy groomed clean beach, and an excellent size for swimming, (we even took kayaks for a quick spin in it) . My only caution is if you like secluded deep woods privacy sites, very limited number, otherwise more open sites. Enjoyed our stay! family oriented. Oh, forgot, with teenagers the wifi reception was excellent as we had few days of solid thunderstorms.

Our family has just returned from a 4 night stay at Shamadon and can't say enough positive about our time there. From the reservation process of placing us on a site that would be best for all 2 and 4 legged guests to accommodating our late arrival on the first day.

Do not be fooled by the owner it is very very expensive to camp there for 1 night or for the season and your business will not be appreciated! What was once a peaceful place, our refuge, what we considered our home away from home became a nightmare. It is very clear that a shift happened in the past year it seems that the tide has shifted away from customer service and more towards a focus on dollars. Patrick’s presence is the only good thing left there, his attention to detail, and care for everyone exemplifies the values and care that we were so happy to have initially found at Shamadon. When he leaves it will go with him.

At first we were nervous about paying the premium rates for a place we had never been. WOW! It is much better than anticipated. We decided to get a "buddy" site designed for two trailers so they can face each other. Very spacious sites and every type available. Grass, gravel or concrete pad. Secluded in trees or closer to the pools and park, this resort has whatever you prefer. Extremely well cared for and a spotless place. Washrooms were new and clean. It is very clear that the owner (we met one morning when he came for a walk to the playground to meet campers) takes a lot of pride in the facilities and maintenance. The wood (very generous amount) and wifi are included in the price- no hidden fees! Not even a deposit for the gate card. Garbage is collected after meal times, so if you need anything there will always be someone around soon. Customer service is a priority and the staff are obviously very proud of this. The owner also mentioned the laundry mat supplies the soap and fabric softner at no additional cost (i have never seen that anywhere, especially at a campground) The beach is well maintained and the water is crystal clear. The walking trails and various statues around the park are a beautiful touch. Family and pet friendly (the large fenced dog park is impressive) evrything is perfect. I WILL return and next time bring some friends. This is the nicest place we have ever stayed in. And no, I am not an employee. I am an extremely satisfied first time customer.
